From kings and queens, to prince and princesses! Luxurious
silk satin bedding is now also the ultimate pampering for your baby.
The Proud Tots’ silk baby bedding collection is made of the
very fine and luxurious
crepe silk satin. Known for its lustrously brilliant appearance, sumptuous
texture, and easy care, silk crepe satin is absolutely the best natural
fabric for baby bedding, and now we have made it as affordable as
cotton!
Proud Tots silk duvet sets include a duvet filled with 17.6 ounces
of hand stretched and sewn Grade A 100% mulberry silk, and have a
pure cotton outer shell. We weave the same first quality mulberry
silk into a lavish and lightweight crepe silk satin which we use in
our duvet covers, mini baby sheets, and pillow shams. The duvet sets
measure a very generous 42” x 54”, the perfect size for
your growing baby.
Most importantly, silk is a healthy fabric. Silk is naturally hypoallergenic
(unwelcoming to dust mites), truly the ideal choice to protect babies
who may suffer from asthma or allergies. Silk possesses the unique
abilities to draw moisture away from the skin, and is resistant to
mildew and odors. Silk also naturally insulates the body from cold
and heat.
The Proud Tots’ Silk Bedding Collection is especially made for
your baby. Please allow up to 4 weeks for delivery. Packaging:
Our silk blankets, duvet covers, and pillows are packed in beautiful
white organza bags. Our duvet covers are vacuum-packed in clear plastic
zippered bags. Once removed from package, duvets will immediately
fluff to original shape. Cleaning/Maintenance:
Do not be deceived by the beauty of silk. For your baby’s protection
our removable silk duvets, pillow shams and sheets are machine and
hand washable in cold water, yet luxurious and incredibly soft.
The duvet cover will preserve and protect the silk-filled duvet, and
will avoid frequent cleanings. Silk-filled duvets are dry clean only.
However, as a natural and healthier alternative, we recommend airing
silk-filled duvets and pillows for a few minutes in indirect sunlight.
The sun naturally encourages silk to release impurities trapped inside
the fiber, and helps maintain the fluff of the fiber.
